TubeFathom is a creator analytics and channel discovery platform that only processes publicly available YouTube channel and video metadata. This policy outlines how we handle and protect that data.

Data We Collect

We retrieve public metrics such as subscriber count, total channel views, video uploads, video durations, publish times, and video titles via the official YouTube Data API v3 and RSS feeds. We also store calculated values derived from this public data, such as format consistency ratings, outlier view scores, and precomputed AI-based niche Blueprints.

Data We Never Access

We do not request Google/YouTube password credentials, OAuth tokens, YouTube Studio statistics, subscriber lists, viewer analytics, or private financial logs. We do not write posts, upload videos, comment, or manage any user channels.

How We Use Data

Public channel data is analyzed to estimate average views, detect standout videos (outliers), map similarity graphs, categorize sub-niches via AI models, and optimize query latency using cached values. This information is displayed in the Chrome extension panel and web dashboard.

Data Removal

If you are a channel owner and wish to exclude your public metrics or AI-generated Blueprints from TubeFathom, you may contact our administrator email. Once verified, we will exclude your channel ID from future queues and erase existing database snapshots.
